Maui – Hawaiian Dance

Hula is a dance form accompanied by chant (oli) or song (mele). It was developed in the Hawaiian Islands by the Polynesians who originally settled there.  This dancer performed a dramatic fire dance at the dinner that I attended before I left Maui.  The dancer was moving violently.  Thanks to OM-D’s fast focus.  I was able to capture these photos with decent clarity.  Camera settings are ISO800, 1/125 sec, f1.8.
