A quiet afternoon in Prague
This set of photos were taken on the last day of my trip to Prague in January. I got a chance to explore this historical city.
I saw an old couple, very well dressed, calmly working alone the street and realized that happiness in life can be so easy.

Near Prague Castle, there is a medieval style restuarants called Tavern U krále Brabantského. Food was okay but the cave like atmopshere and medieval music, dancing and show were very memorable.
Stay tuned for more street shootings in the night … thanks for stopping by today.…

The distance between my hotel front door to the monorail station that connects to Haneda Int’l Airport is about 700 meters. I typically rush through it in under 8 minutes. On Friday morning, it took me 20 minutes since I slowed down for some photo opportunities. My 700 meters walk started from the hotel lobby.
I have taken so many photos of Zojoji Temple and still have had enough of it. Behind the temple is the landmark Tokyo Tower.

I had no breathing room last week while working in Tokyo last week. The only moment that gave me a peaceful mind was my 10 minutes walk to the office in the morning. The deep sense of late autumn and the cold temperature delivered a sense of sadness while the warm sun and the fresh air reminded me of hope. The falling leaves was like rain showers. It reminded me that winter is coming. Life is a continuous cycle.…
Tin Hau, the goddess of the sea, are respected by people in Southern China for hundreds of years. In accent time, Sailors and fishermen would pray for safe returns before they started their journeys. There are many Tin Hau Temples in Hong Kong. This particular one is located in Causeway Bay. It was built by Tai family in the 18th Century. The temple is very well maintained after these many years. Joss sticks and candles burning at the temple…
It’s been 4 years since my last trip to India. During the two days visit, I pretty much spent all of the time between the office and the hotel. It’s a pity that I didn’t get any chance to do any real shooting. These scenes were taken in the car, at a restaurant, and in the airport. It does reflect a certain part of the incredible India.
Traffic jam during rush hours is a common scene in Delhi. You got to have the patience.…
My family went to Manila last weekend. On Sunday morning, I went out for a walk in with my daughter. As we stepped out from the nicely gated community, we went into a side street. I didn’t expect it led us into a poor settlements with houses built by metal sheets and cardboards. It was a shocking scene hard to be described by words. Since I was holding my daughter, I didn’t have any free hand to take any photo.
Worrying about my our safety,…
I went for a photo walk by myself in North Point this afternoon before picking up my daughter from kindergarden. North Point is located on the east side of Hong Kong island. It’s an old and highly populated area. You can see all sorts of people just by walking along the street. I grew up in Hong Kong and used to live in the area 25 years ago. Queen’s road that runs through North Point hasn’t change much in these…
I love to photograph my daughter. But she is an active girl and always on the move. In the past two years, I had only a handful of good photos capturing her in motion. I was desperate in finding a compact camera with fast auto focus and responsive shutter. The OM-D is the answer to my problem. I bought it last weekend.
Key features of this camera include:
1.44 million dot EVF, with a 120 fps refresh rate (100% field-of-view…
