I have been very busy with work lately and had no time at all for any posting. Last week I was in Shanghai for a quick stop and only had chance to take a few shoots during and after dinner.

I love shooting portraits. The most fun part is engaging with the model and capturing their demeanor at their most comfortable moment. Early rangefinder photographers called this “decisive moment”. I am always busy and never have the luxury to do any pre-shooting planning. Most of my photographs were taken spontaneouly and often I only have time in the evening during/after dinner, on the walk back to the hotel, or while I am transiting through airports.
